Pedace is edgy, funny and refreshing. You don’t need a weight guru to help you lose. You just need to get to it. Do more of the right things and have fun with it. I liked her take on the word “diet.” The first three letters spell “die.” Her answer, a diet should be called a “livet.” How clever is that? She has a message for the modern world. “We are fat because we are lazy.” She tackles the forces that dominant our ability to lose weight and attacks them one by one. She reminds you how big the diet and weight loss business is, its influence over our habits may not rally be understood by most Americans, We are still fat as a country. How much help do we need to lose weight? Shouldn’t we take more control?
You will love her take offs on traditional dieting and why they just don’t work. Don’t let this book fool you. It isn’t just fun and games. She has summaries at the end of each chapter and reprogramming activities that will help you achieve your goals. There are a lot of meat and potatoes in this book, not just funny fluff.
